You may give us information about you, when you enquire about our activities, fill in paper forms and forms on our site www.ungaukrainare.se (our site), correspond with us by phone, e-mail or provide us with personal data in person. This includes, but is not limited to, information you provide when you share information via websites which we manage. The information you give us may include your first name, surname, postal address, e-mail address, phone number, date of birth, your personal preferences about being contacted, languages you speak, your comments about our activities and your profile name in Facebook. We do not gather sensitive personal information
Our use of your personal data
All personal information that we obtain about you will be recorded and used for a number of operational purposes, including, but not limited to:
- keep record of our members, their preferences;
- invite members to our Member Group on Facebook;
- inform you about our activities and events, whenever you do not object to receiving such information;
- send you reminders regarding your membership and communicate with you in case such a need arises;
- further our charitable aims, including for fundraising activities, whenever you agree to receive such information.
What to do if you do not want to receive details of offers
In case you prefer not to be contacted by us, you can opt out at any time by writing to us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the same way, you can opt out from our Member Group in Facebook by simply clicking “Unfollow”. Please note, however, if you do opt out of these both options, we will be unable to keep you informed of new activities and events or other information that may of interest to you.
Data retention policy
We gather only information from our actual members that actively express consent to us collecting and using their personal data by filling in paper forms or forms on our site, enquiring about our activities, corresponding with us via phone, e-mail or providing us with personal data in person. The information is stored on secure servers guaranteeing data protection according to GDPR requirements.
Your rights with regard to your information
You have rights under GDPR, which you can exercise these rights at any time by contacting us via email at email@example.com. You have the right to be informed about any personal data which we hold which relates to you, including how we acquired such data, and the purposes for which it is being used. No fee is required for this service. A request will be dealt with within one month from the date on which your request was received.

Such an instruction must contain evidence of the correct information. We will respond within one month from the date on which your instructions are received.
